SNEŽNIK CASTLE
The Snežnik Castle is a unique museum depicting residential culture of the 19th century and is one of the few castles in Slovenia that can boast of original furnishings.

SNEŽNIK (1796M) - SVIŠČAKI
Snežnik is a striking peak that proudly rises above all the hills of Notranjska and proclaims its primacy among the non-alpine peaks of Slovenia. From its top, the eye really reaches into the vastness of the world - to the Kvarner islands, Gorski Kotar, the Italian Dolomites and our Alps. But just like views, we are enchanted by the botanical paradise on Snežnik.
Several marked paths lead to Snežnik. The most visited are those that lead from Sviščaki.

KRIŽNA CAVE
Križna cave is one of the most beautiful water caves in Slovenia. 22 emerald lakes are connected with like a tear pure underground stream. In the side, tunnels lie the ancient bones of cave bears, and according to the number of species of real cave animals, Križna cave is one of the richest caves in the world.

LAKE CERKNICA
Lake Cerknica is one of the largest intermittent lakes in Europe. It appears every year on the karst polje (plain), caught between the Javorniki hills and the Bloke plateau on one side, and Mount Slivnica on the other. During the dry season, the lake disappears, which enables paddling, fishing, hiking or grass mowing in the same area in just one year.

SLIVNICA (1114M)
The legend says that due to the beautiful view of Lake Cerknica and the Notranjska valley, Slivnica was chosen as their home by the witches with the witch Uršula at the helm. Famous Slovenian historian from the 17th century, Janez Vajkard Valvasor, has already written about the evil of the Slivnica witches, who supposedly cooked their drinks, concoctions, and above all rain and calamities in the Coprniška cave just below the top.

LAKE BLOKE
Lake Bloke is one of the most popular excursion points for motorcyclists, cyclists, walkers and hikers. In winter, when its surface freezes, it attracts enthusiastic skaters. In the summer, when the water warms up properly, it attracts bathers to its embrace, and cheerful children like to spend their summer holidays with various activities organized by the lake. There is a children's playground along the coast and fishermen also find their piece of paradise here.
The lake is of artificial origin, formed by damming a stream; around 1970, this was done by diligent tourism workers.
At the beginning of the previous decade, the municipality of Bloke approached the comprehensive regulation of the lake and its surroundings, as well as the regulation of transport and environmental infrastructure.
